Domaine de Compostelle

Owned by the Jean-Pierre Estager family since 1952, Château La Cabanne stands at the heart of Pomerol.

Vines have been grown there since Gallo-Roman times, but the name dates back to the 14th century and the era of isolated cabins which were home to the serfs and settlers who worked the vines, whilst the bourgeois lived in the town of Libourne.

Domaine de Compostelle, the chateau’s second wine, is made as a small run of just 10,000 bottles a year.

Blend: Merlot 85%, Cabernet Franc 15%

Château Laniote

Château Laniote, a Grand Cru Classé since 1969 which has retained its classification at every step, has been in the Filolie family for two centuries. The family even owns three monuments in the village of Saint-Emilion which have been listed as world heritage by UNESCO: the hermitage which was home to the Emilion monks, the Trinity Chapel (13th century) and the catacombs.

Blend: Merlot 80%, Cabernet Franc 13%, Cabernet Sauvignon 7%.

Château
Moulin de Cantelaube

Located in the tiny village of Saint Sulpice de Faleyrens three kilometres from Saint-Emilion, the chateau has been in the Dupuy family for six generations.

Moulin de Cantelaube is a well-structured wine with a very generous finish.

Blend: Merlot 85%, Cabernet Franc 15%.

XX de Corbin

Château Corbin has been run by Anabelle Cruse-Bardinet, an oenology graduate of the University of Bordeaux, since 1999. The vineyard occupies a single 13-hectare piece of land in the village of Saint-Émilion, bordering the Pomerol appellation.

Blend: Merlot 80%, Cabernet Franc 20%.

Château
Lafleur Chevalier

This elegant red wine is made using traditional methods. The grapes are fermented on the skins for 15 to 20 days and then lightly filtered before bottling, preserving the wine’s clear balance and bouquet.

Blend: Merlot 100%.

Château
Lafleur Chevalier

This white wine is made from Sauvignon Blanc. It is fresh, dry and clean with pleasing balance between acidity and fruit.

Blend: Sauvignon 100%

Château Lalande

Château Lalande stands in the village of Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, next to the fine wine route running along the Gironde estuary and near to Châteaux Talbot and Lagrange.

The estate was once part of Château Lagrange, Troisième Cru Classé in 1855, before being taken over by its current owner in 1964.

Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon 53%, Merlot 47%.

Fleur de Pédesclaux

Jacky Lorenzetti, an iconic figure in French rugby (president and owner of Racing Metro 92 since 2006), purchased Château Pédesclaux in 2009.

Its second wine Fleur de Pédesclaux is floral with toasted notes and aromas of blackcurrant and strawberry. Silky with good structure, pleasant acidity and an enjoyable finish.

Blend: Merlot 70%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30%.
